About Us

In May 1931 the Sutton Coldfield Branch of the Warwickshire Beekeepers was established and subsequently changed its name to Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham Branch in 1934.  It is a charitable organisation.

The aim of the Association is to promote the craft of beekeeping and to support beekeepers.  We can offer a wide range of activities to suit all levels of beekeeping, including training courses for beginners and successive courses/talks and exams thereafter.

We are involved in in giving talks and demonstrations to members of the public to promote valuable information and better understanding of the behaviour of bees, their role in the ecological system and the craft of beekeeping.
