On Friday 8^th November members of the Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham Beekeeping Association descended on the Bishop Vesey to meet for pre-dinner drinks. Having met for drinks at 1830, we then moved on to Regards in Boldmere for a curry night! In all 17 members turned out, and it was not quite as raucous as the last one, no shots were involved and everyone kept their top on this time! The food was great and it was a great evening to catch up with everyone. This was all thanks to Andy Winters, our new social secretary who organised, booked and paid the deposit so a big thank you to him! We look forward to the next one, and Andy is keen to find out what other social events our members would be interested in doing to make sure everyone gets a chance to join us, we could even extend it to days out!
