Auction for Julian’s charity

A sale and auction was held on 1st June for members of Sutton Coldfield and North Birmingham beekeepers.

This included feeders, hive parts, electric extractors and queen rearing kit – fortunately refreshments were also on hand.

Around 20 beekeepers attended and the items that belonged to Julian Routh managed to raise £520 which was split between his two chosen charities; WaterAid and Leukaemia UK.

It was a fun few hours where many bargains were snapped up and we enjoyed reviewing some hand made items for beekeeping over the years.
