Tuesday 1st October saw our final Tuesday apiary meeting of the season.

This was an opportunity to give the bees a last feed, check mite drop on monitoring boards and fit mouse guards to the hives.

16 hardy members battled it out in cold wet conditions with the eventual finalists being sisters! Becca Mundye taking home the trophy in a fiercely competitive final against her younger sister Izzy.
