Our annual summer BBQ took place on one of the two days of summer that we have had so far (how lucky!). It was at our apiary in Sutton Park with 65 attendees. Special guests included the Deputy Mayor of Sutton Coldfield Councillor Cindy Yip, Matt – one of Sutton Park’s rangers and Andrew Mitchell MP who rushed back from the Houses of Parliament to attend. The weather was glorious, as was the food cooked once again by Bob and Diane.
The raffle raised more than £140 for the chosen charity – Bees Abroad.
